Prepclass

Exam-preparation platform for eight admissions and language examinations

Prepclass is an exam-preparation platform published by Okiro Education, Inc., the company behind College Council. It covers eight admissions and language examinations on a single adaptive engine: the SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, UCAT, IMAT and the Politecnico di Milano TOL.[1] It is available on the web at prepclass.io and, for the TOEFL, as an iOS and Android app.[2][3]

The platform runs a freemium model: a daily practice allowance is free without a payment card, and full-length tests and unlimited practice are sold as a subscription from $14.99 a month.[1][2]

Overview [edit]

Prepclass describes its method as one path for every exam: a short adaptive diagnostic, a gap-ranked study plan, adaptive item practice with worked explanations, full-length timed mock tests and a score readout built to each exam's own scoring model.[1] Writing and speaking responses for the TOEFL, IELTS and GRE are graded by AI against the exam rubric with descriptor-level notes.[1][3] The SAT item bank holds 13,018 questions and 47,932 answer options.[1]

On the web, full-length tests and unlimited practice start at $14.99 a month, or $9.99 a month for the GRE and PoliMi TOL.[1] In the mobile app the subscription is sold as Prepclass Pro at $14.99 a month or $59.99 a year.[2] The free tier gives five questions a day on the SAT, ACT, GRE, UCAT, IMAT and PoliMi TOL and three practice sessions a day on the TOEFL, with no card required.[1]

History [edit]

The prepclass.io domain was registered on 25 August 2025, three weeks after the incorporation of Okiro Education, Inc.[5] According to the publisher, Prepclass began as a TOEFL preparation product and reached the App Store in April 2026; in July 2026 the SAT engine of the sister platform Okiro, launched in 2025, was merged into Prepclass, and the ACT, IELTS, GRE, UCAT, IMAT and PoliMi TOL modules were added during 2026.[4][6] College Council's consultancy site directs its TOEFL preparation clients to the platform.[7]
